SCHOLARSHIPS

Dear Fellow Supporter:

In October 2012, I started Williams Training Academy, this club was established for several reasons:
1) to help the youth athlete’s progress in the great sport of wrestling.
2) to keep kids off the streets by providing a safe, fun, and educational atmosphere where they can learn the right tools to win to become a “Champion For Life”.
3) To encourage our kids to understand the importance of becoming a positive role model and giving back to the community, and
4) to help athletes receive the tutoring to help make them a well-rounded person.

My brother was a great example of giving back to the community. He met an untimely death at the age of 29 years old due to an asthma attack. His life revolved around passing along his skills and knowledge of the great sport of wrestling to each and every kid that wanted to learn. Learning from his mistakes he was able to turn his life around and be a positive role model for the community and for Olivia his daughter. I have decided to setup a scholarship fund in his name in order to continue his dreams and passion that he displayed while coaching.

Having received the benefits of community support, I feel it is imperative that I take the responsibility in doing my part to help raise the kids in our community. I am asking for your help in working with me to accomplish this great task. I would like to invite you to sponsor our academy or an athlete in order to further our efforts in raising the children of our community.

Thank you so much for your generosity and for your commitment to the young people of our community. Your contribution will be used to help off-set the costs of training, competition, and team building activities for club athletes and under privileged kids in our community.

All donations are concerned a tax deduction.  Please consult your tax advisor for more details.

Sincerely,
Joe Williams,
Academy Coach
